The 18th season of the IPL is scheduled to run from March 22 to May 25, 2025.
IPL 2025 Format
The tournament features 10 teams, divided into two groups. Each team will play 14 matches in the group stage—two matches (home and away) against teams in their own group and one match against teams from the opposite group.
The playoffs will follow this structure:

The top four teams from the points table advance to the playoffs.

The top two teams face off in Qualifier 1, with the winner heading directly to the final.

The third and fourth-placed teams compete in the Eliminator, with the winner moving to Qualifier 2 to face the loser of Qualifier 1.
